Vision
  The aim is to establish longitudinal database for children’s development and family life, by engaging in international comparative studies to perfect the family policy and measures in Taiwan, to effectively help parents raise their children.
Projects
 
1. TBCS research: participate in “Taiwan Birth Cohort Study” by the Bureau of Health Promotion, Department of Health
2. International children’s rights indicators: develop children’s rights indicators in Taiwan, connecting them to international children’s rights indicators
3. Family policy: study Taiwan’s family policies to perfect relevant domestic measures
4. Geographic Information System research : develop and integrate the database of social welfare resources to extend the accessibility of service.

Vision
  Children have the right to grow up safely. The Center invited scholars who have long been concerned with protection of children and adolescents for conducting integrated interdisciplinary longitudinal research in the hope of creating a non-violent living environment.
Projects
 
1. Establish a longitudinal database for family violence: conduct longitudinal research and survey for children and adolescents in Taiwan, in order to understand family violence against children and adolescents as well as the immediate and long-term effects of violence on the physical health, psychological health and social functioning of children and adolescents
2. IConstruct localized procedures for interviewing children: train related professionals to become forensic interviewers to acquire children’s statements with evidentiary effect and protect children’s judicial rights (including sexual abuse, children’s protection and children exposed to domestic violence).

Vision
  Focus on the substance usage problem of children and adolescents. The Center broadly invites interdisciplinary experts and scholars to integrate academic and practical aspects with the aim of developing native prevention policies.
Projects
 
1. Plan for preventing first instance of adolescent drug usage: high-risk adolescents for drug abuse
2. Plan for preventing repeat adolescent drug usage
3. Adolescent drug rehabilitation plan
